How to contact the PPS Board
How the Board is involved in the F.U. Plan
The PPS Board (Board of Directors for Pittsburgh Public Schools district) used $250,000 in taxpayer funds to hire a consultant, ERS (Education Resource Strategies), a private company in Boston, to propose a “facilities utilization plan.”

We elect our Board Members to serve a 4-year term. Elections are held for half of the Board every 2 years.
The primary election for Board Members in the odd-number districts (1, 3, 5, 7, and 9) will be held on May 20, 2025.
The current Board Members typically announce their plans to run for reelection in January or February of the election year. Board Directors in even number districts (2, 4, 6, and 8) may run for reelection in 2027.
